A marketing strategy does not need to be forty pages. This one-page template helps you decide what to do, where AI fits and how you will know it worked. Copy it into a document and fill it in.
1. Business goal
One sentence with a number and a date. For example: "Generate 30 qualified leads per month by the end of next quarter."
2. Audience
- Who exactly are they? Role, company size, situation.
- What problem are they trying to solve?
- What have they already tried?
- What would make them choose you?
3. Message
Write your value in one sentence: "We help [who] do [what] so they can [result], unlike [alternative]."
4. Channels
Pick two or three. For each, note the role it plays: attract, convince or convert. Examples are search, LinkedIn, email and paid ads.
5. AI use cases
List tasks that are repetitive, data-heavy or slow. For each, write the AI tool you will try, who checks the output and the time you expect to save. Start with one or two.
6. 90-day plan
- Days 1 to 30: set up tracking, fix the basics, ship the first pieces.
- Days 31 to 60: expand what is working, test one new idea.
- Days 61 to 90: review results, drop what failed, plan the next quarter.
7. Measurement
Choose a handful of numbers: traffic from your key channels, leads, cost per lead and conversion rate. Review them weekly and write down one learning each time.
8. Risks and rules
- Who reviews AI output before it is published?
- Which data must never go into an AI tool?
- What claims need a source?
